Azul Profundo was born on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, where the jungle meets the ocean in a landscape full of life, color, and natural beauty that inspires every creation.
Each piece I create begins with my own inspiration as both a designer and artisan. Many of my designs are deeply influenced by the magic of the Caribbean—its beaches, the energy of the rainforest, and the unique connection between these two extraordinary landscapes.
Every design is completely handcrafted, with careful attention to every detail from the very beginning of the process. My work has also evolved toward a collection that reflects Costa Rican identity, with the desire to offer both local and international customers authentic pieces that represent the essence of our country.
At Azul Profundo, each piece is handcrafted using 950 sterling silver, a premium silver alloy prized for its exceptional purity, lasting durability, and brilliant natural luster. Compared to lower-purity silver alloys, 950 sterling silver offers a richer appearance, is highly suitable for fine artisan jewelry, and can be polished to maintain its beauty for years to come.
I also use high-quality materials, including precious and semi-precious gemstones, always striving to create jewelry that is not only beautiful, but also meaningful and made to last.
